Are you passionate about sustainability and have a strong, working knowledge of the production industry?
We are on the lookout for enthusiastic trainers to join our team and help deliver our albert training sessions to the wider production industry.
albert training helps industry colleagues to live and work sustainably by providing an optimistic, science-based, solution-centric and enjoyable introduction to the environmental challenges we face. It one of the main ways that we interact with the industry on a weekly basis and a crucial part of the albert project.
We predominately offer 3 types of training – production, editorial and a sports production training session too. Since March, we have adapted our training and now deliver it online, via Zoom.
A good, working knowledge of the production industry is a crucial requirement of the role as you will need to understand the challenges already faced by production teams. We’re particularly interested to hear if you have used the albert toolkit or worked on an albert certified production.
Full training will be provided on the sustainability and science behind our training modules however we expect applicants to have a grasp of the climate crisis issues society faces as a whole and the belief that we can change things for the better, before it’s too late.
Training sessions are currently offered online and we expect to resume some face to face sessions in the future. Trainers need to be confident public speakers, and willing to engage with participants on both the climate science and the implementation of sustainability measures within production.
Trainers are offered £125 / online session and £250 for in person sessions
Please send us a short video (no more than 90 seconds) introducing yourself and explaining why you’re interested in the role. Please also include your top sustainability tip for productions. You can accompany your video with a short covering note outlining your relevant experience.
You aren’t being judged on your production abilities so a simple, one take piece to camera, filmed on a phone, is absolutely fine.
