While COP26 in Glasgow dominated headlines in the UK, the COP15 – Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) – process was already underway.
In December, 196 countries will meet in Canada to agree a plan for sustaining life on earth.
We were delighted to be joined by Bernadette Fischler Hooper, Head of International Advocacy at WWF. Fresh from pre-meetings in Geneva, she provides an overview of how the conference is taking shape, the key decisions which must be addressed in order to protect species and ecosystems, and what news-gatherers should be looking out for ahead of the conference in August.
