Applications are now open for BAFTA albert’s Impact Producer Accelerator, the first programme announced as part of BAFTA’s wider commitment to championing the role of Impact Producers and impact campaigns.

The Accelerator, developed in collaboration between BAFTA albert and Together Films and is a free, industry-focused, hands-on programme designed to power the next generation of Impact Producers in the UK.

Through immersive workshops, expert-led sessions and high-value networking opportunities, participants will gain practical tools, strategic frameworks and the creative confidence needed to craft bold, effective social impact campaigns for Film & TV.

About the Impact Producer Accelerator

Designed for professionals with over six years of industry experience, albert’s Impact Producer Accelerator Programme is a springboard for emerging talent ready to shape culture, shift conversations and drive real-world change as Impact Producers.

Speaking as applications opened, Catherine Ellis, BAFTA’s Head of Climate Content said, “Impact Producers bridge the gap between stories that resonate on screen and real-world change. They galvanise the power of storytelling and inspire action and movement towards a more positive future.

“BAFTA albert is delighted to launch this programme to support and equip the next generation of professionals so that they can inspire positive societal change.”

Together Films Founder Sarah Mosses said, “I’ve spent more than fifteen years working at the intersection of film, social change and audience engagement, at a time when impact producing in the UK wasn’t yet formally recognised as a distinct roleThe Impact Producer Accelerator reflects a growing industry-wide understanding of the value and craft of this work.

BAFTA albert’s commitment to supporting impact producing, particularly across scripted film and drama, not just documentary, is a powerful signal of the form’s potential to shape culture at scale.

This programme is about formalising the role and equipping the next generation of Impact Producers with the strategic, creative and commercial confidence to lead ambitious campaigns across film and television. We are excited to share learnings from our work at Together Films and case studies from across the field to supercharge the adoption of this work across the sector.”

The Impact Producer Accelerator Programme was announced at  the final event in the BAFTA x BAFTA albert’s Green Light Season, with Impact Producer champions Richard Curtis and Damon Gameau and BAFTA’s CEO Jane Millichip, held last year.
