REDUCE
- Don’t overbuy
- Cut out single use plastics where you can – garment bags / shoe bags / water bottles / cutlery / coffee cups / food packaging / shopping bags / stickers / plastic tea-bags
- Drive less – talk to producers about getting electric cars for those buyers / runners / gangsmen who are always driving
- Use filters to stop synthetic microfibers going into the ocean via your washing machines
- Delete dead data – “the cloud” uses vast amount of energy, creating carbon emissions
- Meat Free Mondays – are a great way to reduce your overall impact as a team
- Turn off appliances you are not using – irons / lights / computers etc
- Full load – washing and drying uses considerable resources, turn down the temperature where possible and only run when necessary
- Don’t print unless you need to
- Only dry clean if you have to – return hangers and garment bags to dry cleaners
