REDUCE

  • Don’t overbuy
  • Cut out single use plastics where you can – garment bags / shoe bags / water bottles / cutlery / coffee cups / food packaging / shopping bags / stickers / plastic tea-bags
  • Drive less – talk to producers about getting electric cars for those buyers / runners / gangsmen who are always driving
  • Use filters to stop synthetic microfibers going into the ocean via your washing machines
  • Delete dead data – “the cloud” uses vast amount of energy, creating carbon emissions
  • Meat Free Mondays – are a great way to reduce your overall impact as a team
  • Turn off appliances you are not using – irons / lights / computers etc
  • Full load – washing and drying uses considerable resources, turn down the temperature where possible and only run when necessary
  • Don’t print unless you need to
  • Only dry clean if you have to – return hangers and garment bags to dry cleaners
