A statement from albert in light of the Black Lives Matter Movement

albert is committed to equality, inclusion and creating better lives for all and we stand in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement.

We acknowledge that we need to do more. The responsibility lies with us to engage with the issues at hand and educate ourselves to understand the challenges faced by black and minority communities particularly in the TV, Film and sustainability sectors.

As a starting point we pledge to:

*Include a broader range of voices on our event panels, social channels and on our website

*Review our training to incorporate more awareness and discussion around the issues of privilege within the context of sustainability

*Ensure the questions and language used within our certification and training are inclusive

*Work with our albert community to support black and minority communities and stand with them to be actively anti-racist

* To consider the implications for the BIPOC community of every decision we make
