Hello! I’m responsible for the overall delivery of albert‘s aims and objectives. Having grown up in the natural beauty of North Wales, I’ve always been a keen environmentalist and as a teenager, found inspiration on screen to pursue a career where I could contribute to the big issues of our time. My previous roles in Parliament, BBC Studios, the Creative Industries Council and National Grid have since reinforced the importance of the screen industries collaborating to tackle climate change. It’s an absolute privilege to lead a team who is at the forefront of this.

I run the day to day operations of albert including HR, finance and contracts as well as business development and other projects. I previously spent 10 years at the BBC in a variety of business management roles and enjoy working in the screen industries. I live in the New Forest and love long walks with the dog in our beautiful protected national park and swimming at the coast nearby; preserving the natural environment is very important to me and I am proud to play a part in albert's work in our journey towards a more sustainable world.

My job is to get the film and TV industry the best possible information to help it meet the challenge of the environmental crisis, and to help the industry have the conversations it needs to have in order to be successful. As a USC film grad, screenwriter, photo archivist at AMPAS, and editor of a few top media technology magazines, I’ve seen all parts of the industry - on both sides of the pond – and for me there’s no better job in the business than to be helping film and TV create a happier, healthier more prosperous future beyond fossil fuels.

Working together...
Behind albert is a small crack team helping the TV and film industries work their way towards environmental sustainability.

Hi, I’m albert’s Sustainable Production Assistant and I am here to help throughout the toolkit process, from account requests to footprint assessments. I grew up in the countryside in Yorkshire and so have grown up loving the environment and the natural world. This led me to take an interest in the combination of the environment and sustainability in my previous theatre work, and eventually led me to this role today. I’m proud to work in a team merging two industries I love to help preserve our beautiful planet both for future generations and the wildlife that inhabits it today.
...to make a difference
It’s about coming together to better understand the environmental challenges we face and collaborating to implement industry solutions.
