I am a seasoned creative leader who specializes in operations management and process improvement. I help creative, production and media teams thrive in today's competitive and fast-paced landscape by optimizing their workflows, budgets and strategies. As Managing Director of BAFTA albert, I provide visionary leadership, driving strategic initiatives and fostering robust collaborations with BAFTA. My role encompasses shaping breakthrough strategies, optimizing digital assets and fortifying industry relationships. Committed to integrity, I lead a high-performing team, prioritizing stakeholder engagement and addressing unique challenges such as climate anxiety. I champion efficient operations, safeguarding intellectual properties and enhancing albert's brand within BAFTA. As an ICF-ACC qualified coach, I empower my clients and colleagues to overcome challenges, enhance their performance and achieve their goals.

Hi! My role is to deliver on the industry sustainability strategy through development of albert’s standard, certification, toolkit and other solutions. I’ve got 16 years of experience in environmental sustainability, with key skills in strategy & programme development, environmental & carbon management, certification, and training. I’m a Chartered Environmentalist, certified IEMA trainer, and part of Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project. I’m passionate about creating practical, engaging pathways for all to participate effectively in net zero and biodiversity solution.

I have over 15 years’ experience in the film & TV industry, working at Pinewood Studios before moving across to production for companies such as Warner Bros, 20th Century, Universal and Apple TV+. In addition, my deep-rooted passion for environmental conservation has been fuelled by my experiences as an Expedition Guide, witnessing the already apparent impacts of climate change. I am proud to be part of albert and to help normalise sustainable practices within the screen industries. At albert, I manage the certifications team and develop the certification criteria and processes.

I'm responsible for developing and delivering albert's campaigns. Over the last twenty years, I've worked with, and for, numerous organisations and networks to campaign for a more just world and a better future for our planet. I believe in bringing people and organisations together to advocate for positive change and see the screen industries as having a huge potential to achieve this.

Hello! At albert my role is to spread the word on the brilliant work that is being done on and off screen for our sustainable future. My background is in climate justice communications, having previously worked in the international development sector on global climate campaigns. I am excited and hopeful to see how sustainability practice positively shapes the future of our planet.

Hello! I'm a BAFTA award winning television director with over 30 years production experience in which I've directed, produced and executive produced shows, working on a wide range of programmes across a number of genres. In 2019 I set up Picture Zero Productions, as both a production company and consultancy advising on sustainable production techniques and editorial storytelling on climate change themes. I'm currently project managing the Screen New Deal Transformation Plan for Wales and the Studio Sustainability Standard at albert.

After starting my career in international development, I moved into TV production working with broadcasters such as Netflix, Apple TV+, Amazon and Sky. Most recently I was an in-house production coordinator at Sky Studios where part of my role was to help productions successfully manage the albert certification process. At albert, I help to manage the certification team and toolkit developments.

Hello! I'm albert’s data analyst and my role consists of auditing carbon footprints, answering footprint-related queries and gathering KPI data. My background has largely been focused around environmental sustainability: I'm currently completing an MSc in Sustainable Cities, and have previously worked as a Carbon Data Analyst within a sustainable finance company. I'm very proud to be a part of the albert team, which strives to decarbonise the screen industry and promote meaningful climate action.

After working on projects, awards and events across WFTV, BAFTA, D&AD and The BFI, I was lucky enough to join the albert team. I primarily look after our year-round programme of events - so let me know your ideas for topics and speakers! I also deliver training, alongside managing a variety of projects. Currently I’m focused on games and talent alongside our upcoming subtitle report

Hello! Having studied Film Production at university, and earning a Royal Television Society Award for my graduation short film in 2019, I was interested in contributing to the betterment of the moving image industry and its ability to tell stories in any way I could. I joined albert after working in assistant positions at production companies such as Number 9 Films, Warner Brothers, Marvel Studios and Working Title.

Hi! I have a background in Broadcast TV and Digital Content Production, having previously gained a degree from the University of Leeds in History of Art. My credits include work for the BBC & ITV. I also am very passionate about raising awareness for sustainable practices that we can all incorporate into our daily lives.

Hi, I’m albert’s Sustainable Production Assistant and I am here to help throughout the toolkit process, from account requests to footprint assessments. I grew up in the countryside in Yorkshire and so have grown up loving the environment and the natural world. This led me to take an interest in the combination of the environment and sustainability in my previous theatre work, and eventually led me to this role today. I’m proud to work in a team merging two industries I love to help preserve our beautiful planet both for future generations and the wildlife that inhabits it today.

Hi! I am one of albert's Sustainable Production Assistants, I am here to help the toolkit run smoothly. After having studied business and film studies, I decided to write my dissertation on sustainability in the film/TV industry which led me to albert. I incorporate sustainability in my day-to-day life, and thus couldn't be happier to be a part of this team.

Hello! I'm responsible for supporting albert's comms and looking after its social media channels. My background is in biochemistry and stem cell biology, and I decided to pursue my passions in the arts industries through acting and filmmaking. I'm interested in how the filmmaking process works and how the industry is evolving with consideration to modern issues - this was an interest I could pursue with albert, as sustainability is fast becoming a major concern in the industry.

Hi! I’m leading on albert’s BFI-backed Sustainable Screen Support project, helping to make our resources - tools, training, events and more - film-friendly. From indie productions to big budget studio features, fiction to documentary, it’s my role to get filmmakers engaged with and embedding sustainable practice. With a production background, I work freelance with screen organisations around the UK to encourage positive change and overcome challenges. Outside of the industry, I’m a trained horticulturist, committed to plant health and conservation in the face of climate change.
