Beautiful, thought-provoking or a vital dramatic sense of place: locations in the UK and all around the world are key to storytelling and compelling for viewers. But filming in these places must tread lightly to preserve them for future generations. Following on from the launch of Albert’s biodiversity guide for productions, join this session as our panellists discuss the best practices on location and through the supply chain, how to manage the challenges and unintended consequences of working in the natural world and how productions can not only preserve our landscapes and biodiversity but support nature recovery.
Panellists:
Kirstie Shirra – Campaigns Consultant and Chair of the BAFTA albert Biodiversity Working Group, BAFTA albert
Nick Day – Head of Engagement, Events and Filming, The Crown Estate
Harriet Lawrence – Supervising Location Manager, The Key Location
Chantelle Lindsay – Presenter and Coordinator, Nature in Mind, London Wildlife Trust
Following our session, FOCUS invites attendees to join them at a networking reception kindly sponsored by Get Set Hire.
