Screen New Deal launch event recap and FULL video!

Our Screen New Deal Launch event on the 9th of September was albert's most successful yet, with over 300 attendees!

Thank you to all who attended our Screen New Deal launch event yesterday! We are excited at the initial response we’ve had to our Screen New Deal report (which you can read and download here) as this is only the beginning of a journey towards a more sustainable film industry.

The webinar was hosted by our very own Aaron Matthews (Head of Industry Sustainability at BAFTA) and panelists included Pippa Harris (Chair of the albert Film Forum, Vice Chair of BAFTA, and producer at Neal Street Productions), Devni Acharya (Circular economy and climate change consultant at Arup) and Tim Snelson (Structural Engineer at Arup) and lastly Tricia Duffy (albert strategy advisor and independent media consultant).

Aaron and Pippa discussed how these proposed changes could be implemented in the film industry, and how to lead the conversation around sustainability, while Devni and Tim discussed the research and findings in the report itself and finally Tricia handled questions for the panelists from attendees.

Stay tuned as we’ll have more #ScreennewDeal events coming soon!

For those who missed the talk, or want to watch it again, we have uploaded it below.
